The conference The Politics of Everyday Life focuses on 70 years of the Charter for the Kingdom of the Netherlands and its significance in the past, present and future. Through political, historical, artistic and social perspectives, it explores how the daily reality of the Kingdom takes shape.
With panel discussions, personal stories and artistic contributions, the programme addresses themes such as decolonisation, climate justice, identity and emancipation. Participants will not only be part of the conversation but also invited to actively share their ideas about the future of the Kingdom.
The day concludes with a cultural tour of the exhibitions Rinella Alfonso & Charles Eyck: On the other side of the ocean and The Politics of Daily Life, followed by an informal reception and networking opportunity.
