During this theatrical city walk, visitors wearing headphones discovered special spots in Heerlen where dance, freerunning and urban architecture came together. The performers used the city as their playground: they balanced on edges, moved along walls, and intertwined their movements with the surroundings. In this way, the everyday urban landscape was experienced from a fresh perspective.
Blind Spot – Heerlen was part of a series of urban performances in which Kostić invites the audience to observe more consciously what unfolds before their eyes. By connecting dance and movement with the raw urban environment, a unique experience emerged, reflecting on how we move through the city and what we often overlook.
In the SCHUNCK central hall, a video is now on view featuring footage of this performance. The video offers an impression of the route, the performers, and the way the city was used as a stage.
