The Warhol café evenings are accessible and aimed at discussing art and culture in an approachable way. The second edition of the Warhol Café focuses on the clothing brand Sumibu.

Sumibu

Designer Naud Verboeket, founder of popular brand Tears, opens his Tears Factory for an evening with Georgy Dendoe, artist and one of the founders of clothing brand Sumibu. He shares his story of journey in the fashion world and its connection to the Dutch hip-hop scene.

Just as Andy Warhol explored the themes of fame and identity in his time, Naud and Georgy bring these ideas to the present, in their own unique way. Their designs reflect how fame and self-expression are being redefined in today's culture. By connecting clothing design with subcultures and music, they explore how identity is shaped by personal and collective experiences, just as Warhol did in his work.

Warhol Café #2 is organized in collaboration with Kool Cult and Life Cipher.
