Coinciding with the opening of the Heerlen Rooftop Project, a new edition of Dreaming Out Loud starts on 1 July. In this exhibition, Selvatico shares its vision on the unharnessed potential of roofs.

Future (P)roof is a compelling exhibition in which architects collective Selvatico, one of the winners of The Heerlen Rooftop Project, gives its vision on the unharnessed potential of rooftops. Selvatico investigates the way in which this forgotten side of the city might also address the scarcity of green spaces elsewhere in urban environments. Green roofs can play a major role in mitigating the adverse effects of climate change. The exhibition highlights major ecological problems, but also local, natural solutions. The current case study - the Countryside installation on the roof of Q-Park Putgraaf in Heerlen - is referenced as an example.
Dreaming Out Loud
The ‘Dreaming Out Loud’ cabinet series has been at SCHUNCK since 2016. This series is aimed at young artists and designers who, as yet, have not been able to showcase themselves on a grander scale in Limburg and the Euregion.
Future (P)roof takes place in the foyer of the Glaspaleis at SCHUNCK from 16 to 30 June, before moving upstairs to level +1 . It can be seen here from 1 July to 2 October.
