Andy Warhol for schools

With the educational programme, SCHUNCK wants to offer all pupils from the Parkstad region the opportunity to experience and admire Andy Warhol's art.

The exhibition Andy Warhol: Vanitas has challenging subject matter, especially when it deals with deeper themes such as mortality. Through our education programme, we make this exhibition accessible to pupils of all grades and levels, from preschoolers to high school students. We always adapt the themes to the age and target group.

Visual guide

There are guided tours and workshops in which pupils can incorporate their impressions into their own visual work. We explore the theme of vanitas, which, besides vanity and emptiness, is also understood as the passage of time. Because art is not always easy to understand or feel, a completely updated visual guide is available during the exhibition. This can be used as a deepening of the guided tour. The pupils answer questions, complete assignments and are challenged to really look at art with a different perspective.

By doing so, we hope to offer as many pupils as possible from the Parkstad region the opportunity to experience, experience and admire Andy Warhol.
