Euregional Architecture Prize: exhibition in Düsseldorf

The results of the 35th edition of the Euregional Architecture Prize (EAP) were recently presented in an exhibition at the Architektenkammer North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf.

The prize, organised by SCHUNCK, annually recognises graduation projects by architecture students from the Euregio. During the opening on 3 February, it became clear that the awarded projects address pressing themes within the field, such as the reuse of existing buildings, sustainability and new ways of living together. The selected designs demonstrate how young architects engage with challenges related to vacancy, flexibility and future-proof building.

The exhibition brought together six awarded projects, including two first prizes and three honourable mentions. The projects highlight the innovative and cross-border character of the Euregio and underline the importance of collaboration between education, professional practice and cultural institutions.
