Inspired by the many chalk drawings made by Keith Haring, SCHUNCK will - quite literally - be taking to the streets this summer. On 13, 15 and 16 July, we will be organising the chalk festival: at three different locations in the city, we will be inviting young people to come and show off their chalk-drawing skills.
Just like Keith Haring, we will be trying our hand at (sidewalk) chalk drawings. His drawings will be our inspiration, only we will be using the town square as our canvas. We’ll bring the chalk, the music and some refreshments. All we are asking our visitors is to bring their creativity and enthusiasm with them. Anyone can join in. After all, art is for everyone.
Participation is free and you don’t have to register. It’s a good moment to combine with a visit to the Keith Haring: Grace House Mural exhibition. Young persons up to the age of 18 can visit the exhibition free-of-charge.
