The “10Tacle” studio is an enterprise that develops interactive entertainment media. This society had chosen a new important economic site near Brussels, The Charleroi Airpole that would join to a modern and avant-gardist picture although diversified incoming of enterprises.
The studios have to show the creativity, the originality and the dynamism but also be a “technologic showcase” for the enterprise. The workers meet an unusual atmosphere where the spaces allow them to relax and develop their creativity. The “picture” is the main theme for this project. It welcomes the visitors but also organize and hierarchies the spaces according to their step in the creation of the videogame. So there is a kind of “climbing of the picture” from the heart of the building symbolized by the server room in the space for the creation of the games to its booming at the highest level where finished games are projected. The outer structure take a move independent of windows at the approach of the zone of the picture creating a structural poesy that symbolized the move of the picture through the statics of architecture.
The many circulations distribute the half-levels in a freely and fast way according to their frequentation rate and the level of the ground. The creation zone is designed like a differing and isolated universe only reserved for the game creators. So they can enjoy a large and aerated space where walls and roof are dematerialized by a detailed research on the light and the calm and retreat necessary to a good concentration.
So with some easy elements, the architecture dialogs with the picture and the cross from a space to another make a discovery.
