Stakes of the intervention :
- To connect the Saint-Marguerite district to the hypercentre of the Liège
metropolis.
- To renovate a place with numerous social, economical and cultural
potentialities.
Action plan:
- Settlement of a pole of activities aiming at making the place more attractive.
- Settlement of a policy of planning different connections for pedestrians, cars and public transport.

General characteristics of the intervention:
- Modification of the design of the actual fast road in order to reorganize the Fontainebleau space and to guarantee a certain quality in the design of the different public spaces
- Creation of a public space at a metropolitain scale around which economical, cultural, and social activities are articulated. This space acts as an interface between thelower and the upper sides, as well as between the mineral and vegetal aspects of the site.
- Exploitation of the landscape qualities of the Xhovémont hill thanks to the creation of walking paths and other sports routes;
- Taking advantage of the rearrangement of the Fontainebleau public space in order to promote the use of the public transport system by creating an adapted infrastructure in relation with dissuasion parkings.
- Creation of an urban walk along the fast road which assure a real pedestrian connection with the Saint-Lambert district.
