Grand design in the sixties that never got finished in the seventies with a nineties extension, that's what Vorst Nationaal looks right now.
As one of the biggest venues in the country, this building performs only at night.
During the day it stands solitary, blind, grey and inaccessible.

It is time to put this building back on the public and local political agenda.
Workshops with the locals bring new ideas to life.
One can easily question and redesign this building by going back in time and looking at the history of the place where it is built.
It is time to disclose this bunker and to present a redesign based on its intrinsic qualities.

I've designed state of the art models that finally open up this building to the neighbourhood and to the surrounding infrastructure, the way it was ment to be, initially.
