‘The Heerlen Rooftop Re:Use Project – Introducing the inhabitants of Heerlen’ is a project by mjn.
The goal of the Heerlen Rooftop Re:Use Project is to seek out the hidden potentials of the city, by combining the potentials of existing objects and resources with the knowledge and skills of the residents of Heerlen. After the implementation of a basic structure on every roof involved, the participative process begins: the city acts as a material stock, using the embodied energy in it, and stimulates people to join the process.
