Assignment: represent Antwerp at a European platform formed by the highway around Antwerp.
Diversity as an input to preserve welfare; that’s the way Antwerp wants to represent itself to Europe.
Antwerp wants to be a lighthouse for diversity and show variety and tolerance as good foundations to build on.
The project is a layering between dream and reality, between heaven and earth.
The building became a diverse layered tower with a stair as beating heart between the levels. By placing the technical cases at the outside, free flexible open levels were created.
