Passaasj Parkstad
In 2026, it will be forty years since SCHUNCK Museum (formerly Stadsgalerij), the museum for modern and contemporary art in Heerlen, opened its doors to the public. To celebrate this anniversary, SCHUNCK Museum presents Passaasj Parkstad from 21 April to 17 May 2026: an exhibition in which the works of artistic and creative residents of Heerlen, Parkstad and Limburg take centre stage.
Coming home to SCHUNCK
The theme of this edition is ‘home’. Heerlen and Parkstad have been home to artists and the museum for 40 years. What is home to you? A place? A feeling? And through which artwork or design do you express this?
