For this special edition of the Frictions festival, SCHUNCK Museum has invited students from the Arts, Theater and Media (Kunst, Theater en Media; KTM) department of VISTA College to visit the exhibition Andy Warhol: Vanitas and then program their own unique festival evening. Expect an evening where the talents of students from various programs come together, including Musicians, Event Producers, Video Specialists, Photographers, and Actors.
Art and Performance
The collaboration offers students the opportunity to combine their strengths and put their professional skills into practice, culminating in a festive evening where art and performance seamlessly intertwine. Whether it's creating the perfect aftermovie, capturing the evening through the lens of photographers, providing musical and theatrical performances, or event producers ensuring everything runs smoothly; this edition of the Frictions festival promises to be a diverse and interactive experience, inspired by the works and personas of Andy. Moreover, the youth group from SCHUNCK Museum, Driver's Seat, will give special guided tours of the exhibition prepared specifically for the evening.

The festival focuses on local residents, art and culture consumers, youth, students, and social organizations. Community involvement is central to the festival.
