Architecture Café: Circular & biobased building – Is that our future?
As a prelude to the national Architecture Day weekend 2025, SCHUNCK is teaming up with the Limburg Architects Collective to host the very first Architecture Café. Under the national theme ‘In Transition’, we’ll be exploring a timely and pressing question: how do we build for the future?
The focus is on circular and biobased building. In short, sharp pitches, speakers from the fields of practice, research, industry and the market will share their perspectives. This will be followed by a debate: which strategies show promise? Where do the opportunities – and the challenges – lie?

Visit example projects during the weekend
As part of Architecture Day, six buildings in our region will open their doors to the public on Saturday 14 June 2025. These are innovative showcase projects in the fields of circularity and biobased construction – ranging from private homes to community centres, from renovations to new builds.
