Architect and entrepreneur Koen Savelkoul combines architecture with interior design, art, and objects. From his studio Ontheroad in Maastricht, he develops innovative projects in which sustainability is a natural foundation. His work intrigues, inspires, and invites you to explore boundaries.

One of his recent initiatives is the TERRA Tiny House project: ten compact, sustainable cabins located in the Maasvallei nature reserve. Measuring just 12.5 m², they offer a unique way to experience nature. But Savelkoul’s work goes beyond construction — it tells a story about space, innovation, and connection.

Curious? Step into the Dreaming Out Loud cabinet on level +1 at SCHUNCK and discover how Ontheroad fuses architecture and sustainability in an inspiring exhibition.

Dreaming Out Loud

Dreaming Out Loud shines a spotlight on emerging architects and visual artists from Limburg and the Euregion. Two to three times a year, a student or recent graduate is invited — alternating between the disciplines of Architecture and Visual Arts — to create a cabinet presentation and introduce their work to the public.
