Peutz city walk
For more than half a century, Ir. Frits Peutz (1896 -1974) left his mark on Heerlen. During this walk through the center we will look at well-known and lesser-known works by his hand. The walk ends at the Peutz exhibition in the old City Gallery.

Come to the Glapaleis and take a guided walk through Peutz's Heerlen! All you need is good footwear and, worst case scenario, a raincoat.
The Peutz city walk will take you past 26 fascinating buildings, where you can experience how striking and also how subtle and natural the versatile architect and structural engineer worked. The walk totaling 5 km starts at the Glaspaleis and ends in the old City Gallery, with a visit to the exhibition "Fritz Peutz 1896-1974 - Iconic Architect.
Enjoy the beautiful buildings and be amazed by Peutz's timeless vision of architecture.

At the beginning of the walk you will receive a foldable map with the 26 buildings on the route.
This activity of SCHUNCK and the Vrienden van SCHUNCK is part of the opening program of the new municipal office building designed by Mecanoo Architects.
Tip: On 25 November the lecture 'Dansen op de Mijnen' by Francine Houben takes place in Parkstad Limburg Theater Heerlen.
