Last chance: You are here on the vide in the Glaspaleis

Still on view for four more weeks on the vide in the Glaspaleis: You are here. This semi-permanent presentation tells the story of the Glaspaleis, its architecture, and the various functions the building has served over the years.

End of a Chapter, Start of a New Story

After five years of hosting this presentation, the vide will make way for something new following the Christmas holidays. In 2025, the Year of Heritage, SCHUNCK Museum will place special focus on heritage. This will include a new presentation on the vide, set to open later in the year.

The new presentation will once again highlight the Glaspaleis and its history, alongside a selection of other modernist buildings in Heerlen and Parkstad. These buildings will be explored from an architectural and historical perspective, with a focus on transition and adaptive reuse.
