On 26 April, four new exhibitions opened to the public during Frictions Festival. Jean Tinguely's Shuttlecock in the Atrium, Lizzie Veldkamp's work as part of Dreaming Out Loud, the new 'The selection of' in the Art Depot and Alevtina Kakhidze's exhibition.

Collaborative partners from past Frictions editions made the evening extra festive. These included music by the band Hence the Bravery in the Atrium, Het Belangrijke Genootschap read their work in the middle of Lizzie Veldkamp's installation, and skate collective Loose Ankles showed off their skills during a skate jam in front of St Pancratius Church.

In the church, from 26 April, you can view artworks by 14 Ukrainian artists under the title 'What hinders a sermon become one', curated by Alevtina Kakhidze. Moreover, Alevtina opened her exhibition 'Windows, signs of peace' in the store window with a performance.
