Registration open: SCHUNCK Museum is looking for artists
Your artwork or design in the museum?
In 2026, SCHUNCK Museum (formerly Stadsgalerij) celebrates forty years since it first opened its doors to the public as Heerlen’s museum for modern and contemporary art. This anniversary is marked with Passaasj Parkstad: an exhibition highlighting artists, designers, and creative talent from Heerlen, Parkstad, and Limburg.
Registration Open
Residents of Heerlen, Parkstad, or Limburg who identify as artists or designers are invited to share a personal interpretation of the theme “home.” Until 20 February 2026, you can submit one work, either 2D (such as a painting, collage, or photograph) or 3D (sculpture, ceramics, model). Background, age, and education do not matter; both emerging and experienced artists are welcome.
An independent jury will select 100 works from all submissions. These will be on display in the museum gallery of the Glaspaleis from 21 April to 17 May 2026.
