SCHUNCK Museum launches its 2025/2026 annual program

SCHUNCK Museum's new annual program is here: an inspiring mix of exhibitions, talent development, heritage, and art in the city. The 2025/2026 program is now available to view and pick up at the Glaspaleis.

The program presents a mix of international perspectives, regional connections, and current themes – with a focus on young talent, heritage, social engagement, and art in the city.

For the spring and summer of 2025, highlights include a duo exhibition by Rinella Alfonso (Curaçao) and South Limburg's Charles Eyck. Their work merges in stories and artworks about identity and memory. In the staircase, four artists present their vision of the Kingdom relationship in the striking display The Politics of Everyday Life. During IBE 2025, the Jong Erfgoed (Young Heritage) project will launch, focusing on hip-hop culture in Heerlen. High school seniors from two schools in Heerlen will present their work in We & Warhol.

Additionally, installations by Kevin Osepa, Keetje Mans, and Davy van Gerven will be on display. Outside the museum, Maarten Bel and Chaim van Luit are working on visible art projects in the city.
