Experience Warhol with the Museum Bag activity booklet and the construction site
At SCHUNCK, experiencing art becomes something special, especially during the exhibition Andy Warhol: Vanitas. We have developed the Museum Bag activity booklet specifically for children aged 7 and up. This booklet is filled with tasks that help children view Warhol's artworks in a playful and creative way, allowing their imagination to run wild.
In the activity booklet, children are challenged to look closely at certain artworks and come up with stories about them. Can you find the artwork where Warhol painted his own face? What do you think when you look at his face? Or take a look at a piece where almost everything is blue. What is happening there?
Additionally, they can create their own skull using aluminum foil, inspired by Warhol's famous skulls. At the end of their visit, they can take a Polaroid photo with their homemade skull—just like Andy Warhol did. They can take this photo home as a keepsake of Andy Warhol.
Andy’s Hair Salon: Create a New Wig for Andy!
Besides the activity booklet, there is also a construction site in the central hall of the Glaspaleis where children can get hands-on. Design a new wig for Andy, color it in, and cut it out. Or make a mask of Andy’s head using rubber bands and become Andy Warhol for a day!
Suitable for children aged 7 and up
The Museum bag activity booklet is available for free at the reception and is specially designed for children aged 7 and up. Younger children can explore the booklet together with a guardian. The construction site is also free and suitable for all children who enjoy getting creative.
Free entry for children
Children under 18 can visit the museum for free. All practical information about the museum can be found here:
