SCHUNCK has again received an official quality certificate from the Certification Organisation for Library, Culture and Language (CBCT) for its SCHUNCK Library and SCHUNCK Music and Dance units. With this, the organisation meets important quality standards applicable to library and cultural organisations.

An important part of the assessment is the future-proofing and social role of the organisation. With the certificate SCHUNCK has received the confirmation that within the organisation functions and services are carried out in a professional manner and that all quality standards are met. The certificate is valid for four years.

The organisation is very pleased with the result, says Kor Bonnema, director-director: "We are proud of the recognition of SCHUNCK as a professionally functioning organisation with committed and competent employees. It motivates us enormously that the auditor sees that the integration of all our disciplines is bearing fruit. We have all worked extremely hard on that". CBCT's auditor articulates the recognition as follows: "SCHUNCK distinguishes itself by offering crossovers, where one theme in the programming is reflected in all disciplines. SCHUNCK succeeds in stimulating the language and cultural education of the inhabitants of Heerlen through all disciplines. In schools and in the city's neighbourhoods, among other places."
