Driver’s Seat presents: What Living Does to a Motherfucker
Starting today, you can see the exhibition What Living Does to a Motherfucker in the Art Depot of SCHUNCK – a selection from the collection curated by Driver’s Seat.
Eight young people with a passion for art and stories – Driver’s Seat – delved into the collection and selected works that tell something about life. About characters that glance at you and make you wonder: who are you, and who is the other?
The title is a nod to the painting What Living in Bekkerveld does to a Motherfucker by Lobke Cornelissen de Beer, which inspired the selection – and thus occupies a prominent place in the space.
Driver’s Seat
Driver’s Seat is the youth group of SCHUNCK Museum. A group of young creators, thinkers, and viewers, aged 16 to 23, presenting their own perspective on the collection through this exhibition.
A four-part podcast series will follow soon, where they will discuss the stories they see – and how they affect them. Follow the group on social media and stay updated.
On display until 27 July at the Art Depot, free entry during regular opening hours.
