Save the date: 15 November – Award Ceremony Euregional Architecture Prize 2025

On Saturday 15 November 2025, SCHUNCK in Heerlen will once again host the festive award ceremony of the Euregional Architecture Prize. In addition to the award ceremony, there will be more to discover in the field of architecture at SCHUNCK.

The participating faculties in the Euregional Architecture Prize are RWTH and FH Aachen, the universities of Hasselt and Liège, and the Academy of Architecture Maastricht. The prize is awarded annually to the best graduation project from the five participating architecture schools in the three countries of the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. As in previous years, the event offers a great opportunity to meet, exchange ideas, and discover the talent of the future.

Exhibition – 35th edition of the EAP

Following the award ceremony, SCHUNCK will host an exhibition featuring all nominated graduation projects from the six architecture faculties in the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. The exhibition runs from Sunday 16 November through Thursday 11 December 2025, on the first floor. The exhibition is located on the first floor and admission is free.

Dreaming Out Loud: Koen Savelkoul

Running concurrently with the 35th edition of the EAP and its exhibition, a new edition of Dreaming Out Loud is on view on the first floor of the SCHUNCK Glaspaleis. It features work by Koen Savelkoul, who received an honourable mention at the EAP in 2013.

More architecture at SCHUNCK

From 15 November onwards, a new semi-permanent architecture presentation opens on the vide in the entrance hall of the Glaspaleis: Modernism in Motion – From Glaspaleis to Parkstad. The exhibition offers an overview of Parkstad Limburg’s rich modernist heritage – the period in which the Glaspaleis was also built – with special attention to the transformation of this legacy.
